Slightly decadent, sunny and spent with a lot of nice people...that's how all weekends should be (although I wouldn't have minded if it had been a little less sunny actually, as I guess you know by now I don't really like hot weather that much). It's almost 11 p.m on Sunday night and I am looking back on the days that's passed and smiling. I'm not just bored here, from time to time I'm really happy too.
This weekend it's been something called "Fallens dagar" (directly translates to "day of the falls", or something like that) here in Trollhättan, which is like a festival of some sort. We have falls, and locks, here you see, and once a year we celebrate...I guess having them (haha, it sound quite silly thinking about it).
This is a photo taking from a bridge just over the falls. The water would pour down from under the bridge (and over the stone towards the bridge in the far end):
There's also a lot of partying during this weekend (hence the festival "label"), and yours truly never turn down a chance to have some fun, so Friday and Saturday evening was spent with a bunch of other people drinking and laughing...and just having a really good time really.
Me and Jenny on Saturday evening (it was about 10, or something, and I was still sober hehe).
She's my oldest friend, we've known eachother, and even though we're quite different in a lot of ways it's always so nice to spend time with her. It's safe and comfortable and I feel like there is no pretences. When everything else (including myself) has changes, she has remained the same. I love that about her.
Hehe. It's dark and I am sentimental, so we'd better move on...
Today was my grandfather's 72'nd birthday (happy birthday!!!), and so we were at their (his and grandmother's) house and had some coffe and cake. It was nice. I love my grandparents house, that's another thing that never changes. And they have the best garden.
Hehe, Sarah likes the garden too.
And I do as well (they're growing peas - which I really like - in case you're wondering about the photo).
And I think that was pretty much it. I'm going to get back to some other things now, before I go to bed. After all they say that it's good to go to bed at a decent hour, and well...since the rest of the family sort of does I am sort of trying to (a decent hour is about midnight, for me not for them, in case you were wondering), so...
